Laguna Beach

'Laguna' is derived from 'Lagonas' named by the coastal Indian tribes the 'Ute-Azetcas' who first inhabited the canyon formations along California's coast some 2000 years ago. Laguna beach's attraction is best expressed on a famous gate built in 1935 that reads 'This gate hangs well and hinders none, refresh and rest, then travel on'.

Subsequently this area came to be known as Laguna Beach. The 42-mile coastline offers a spectacular view and wide spectrum of entertainment. Being one of the best known oceanfront locations in the world with warm Pacific waters and sunsets, Laguna Beach attracts tourists with its coastal dining offering a variety of culinary delights, shopping malls and rows of galleries, boutique shops, coastal villages, cultural activities and golf courses. There is allure, romance and creative energy on the Laguna Beaches.
